Caitlyn Olive is a Chicago-based voice actor, aduibook narrator, sing, and performer with a passion for stories that make people laugh, cry, think, and feel a little less alone. Whether she's narrating an audiobook or performing on stage, her goal is always the same: to create engaging performances that feel honest and unforgettable.

Known for her bright, youthful sound, sarcastic wit, and emotionally-informed charm, Caitlyn brings an actor's approach to every script. She loves discovering what makes each character unique, finding the emotional truth in every scene, and making the content feel authentic rather than performative. Her voice has been described as, warm, clear, approachable, optimistic, and expressive, with the versatility to shift effortlessly from heartfelt sincerity to playful sarcasm. She loves voicing children, teens, and young adults!

A lifelong performer, Caitlyn has spent more than 20 years studying voice and performance. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre/Classical Voice/Dance and has extensive pedagogical and vocal health education. She has performed professionally on stages across the world, including as a mainstage vocalist for Hong Kong Disneyland. She currently performs with Chicago's premier a cappella group, InVox.

Since beginning her voice acting career in 2020, Caitlyn has narrated dozens of audiobooks across fiction and nonfiction, with a particular love for YA & Romance. She is especially drawn to projects that require believable relationships, strong emotional range, and "uncomfy" topics that challenge people to think in a new way or feel something from a new perspective. Her background allows her to transition naturally between narration and dialogue while remaining grounded in the author's or director's vision.

Collaboration is at the heart of Caitlyn's work. She believes that the best performances come from strong communication, thoughtful preparation, and respect. Whether working with an indie author, publisher, or creative team, she strives to make the process seamless and enjoyable, while delivering polished, broadcast-quality audio.

When she's not in the booth, Caitlyn is usually reading, trying a new neighborhood bar, writing her first novel, watching a Cubs game (let's go Cubbies!), or spending a lazy day with her husband and pup. She has a soft spot for Hilary Duff, Gilmore Girls, The Parent Trap, anything written by Emily Henry and Squishmallows!
