Caitlyn Olive is a Chicago-based voice actor, audiobook narrator, singer, and performer with a love for stories that make people think from a new perspective, feel deeply, and root for imperfect characters. Whether she's behind the mic or onstage, her goal is the same: to bring stories to life with performances that feel honest, engaging, and distinctly human.

Known for her bright, youthful sound and emotionally grounded charm, Caitlyn brings an actor's instincts to every script. She loves figuring out what makes a character unique, finding the emotional truth hiding between the lines, and creating performances that feel lived-in rather than performed. Her voice has been described as warm, clear, approachable, optimistic, and expressive, with a natural ability to shift from heartfelt sincerity to playful sarcasm and witty banter. She especially loves voicing children, teens, and young adults--and all the wonderfully messy parts that come with them.

A lifelong performer, Caitlyn has spent more than 20 years studying voice and acting. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre with training in classical voice and dance, along with extensive education in vocal pedagogy and vocal health. Her career has taken her to stages around the world, including Hong Kong Disneyland, where she performed as a mainstage vocalist. Since stepping into the voice acting world in 2020, Caitlyn has narrated dozens of fiction and nonfiction audiobooks, with a particular soft spot for YA, romance, and fantasy. It's her dream to narrate a thriller and a holiday romcom! She gravitates toward believable relationships, big feelings, complicated characters, and the occasional "uncomfy" story--the kind that asks you to sit with something you might not fully understand at first. With a background rooted in acting and storytelling, she moves naturally between narration and dialogue while keeping every performance grounded in the author's or director's vision.

Collaboration is at the heart of Caitlyn's work. She believes the best performances come from thoughtful preparation, open communication, and genuine respect for and from everyone involved in production. Whether she's working with an indie author, publisher, or co-narrator, Caitlyn aims to make the process simple, clear, and genuinely fun--while delivering polished, broadcast-quality audio along the way.

When she's not in the booth, Caitlyn is probably buying another book for her TBR pile, attemping to write her first novel, watching the Cubs, or hanging out with her husband and pup. She is a Libra and huge fan of the Chicago Cubs, Hilary Duff, and Gilmore Girls. She's also obsessed with anything written by Emily Henry. You can usually find her snuggling a Squishmallow or any animal in sight (adopt, don't shop!). She is fueled by Diet Coke and Pirates Booty.
